Media Centre Problem - No info guide after PCI TV card installation

    Hola!

I have a problem with XP MCE not giving me guide info for the vast majority of channels.

I have this Sony Vaio HTPC specs here

I added a DigiTV card to it so I could record two different channels (as well as some extra RAM (2gigs), and a couple of 250GB hard drives), however, on retuning it, there is “no information available” for almost all the channels.

I thought it was a weak signal, so I’ve bought a 4 way UHF amplifier, and run a dedicated wire to each of the tuners, but this hasn’t helped any.

I definitely have the latest BDA drivers for the Nebula DigiTV card (a stellar performer, bought from these forums), and it worked fine in my previous media PC.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this?

    Many thanks,

The listings come through the net, not the aerial.
You need to go into settings, then TV, then setup guide listings (this is off the top of my head, so may be slightly different) and assign the correct channels to the correct listings.
Takes a while to do, but its a one off

Thanks for the response Agent -

Should have said that I'd tried downloading them, and this hasn't worked (as barely any listings whatsover come up - and when they do they're assigned to the right channels).

Perhaps if I tried to get it to download the list re: a different transmitter... actually think I've tried that. Well I'll keep on guessing...

Has anyone else had a similar problem to this?
