    Vista app launch

ok, i have this problem with 2 applications. they are skype and MS office 07 (cant remember which version.) everytime i launch either skype, word, publisher... they go into a semi "install" and configuers the program to my computer. skpye takes <3 seconds but MS office apps take a good 5 minutes.

im using vista ultimate 64, MS office 07 and skype. all are legal and registered keycodes... patched up/latest version. my local cafe doesnt know what the problem is so im hoping somone here has some ideas.

ow yes and i have tried re installing office. im downloading skype again now, but i doubt it will run any different than it is now.

thanks for reading, hope you can help
