    Question PC keeps BSOD

A PC used by a client for a Ricoh printer (PC supplied by Ricoh) kept rebooting itself, usually after you entered your username and password as its on their domain

Removed the auto restart and this is the error code on screen

    0X00000008X ( 0XC00000005, 0X80543803, 0XF18F82C, 0X00000000)

They have ran memtest on the machine overnight and it did not find any errors

Nothing has changed on the pc, however its not been great from day one, but they have been told it will be at least a month for a replacement

Anyone got any ideas as to what that lot means so i can try and narrow down the issue?

    Thanks

Not exactly 0x0000008X but I was having a 0x0000008E BSD problem a couple of weeks back and this is where I was transfered to by a quick google.

If it's a network printer maybe it's worth checking for this "rootkit" thingy as it only takes few minutes to scan your pc using small program.(look further down for the link) BTW my BSD was caused by a bad soundcard driver so I think anything can trigger this kind of event though. Anyway good luck.

Thanks Notsobig, I will have to check that as everything except the video is onboard and it looks like a home made pc with a ricoh badge stuck on it...
