    Angry problem with ocuk

    hi everyone,

    A month ago i bought a gfx card from ocuk 1gb 2900pro. i RMA it back on 4th jan due to blue screen errors caused by the faulty card. today 17 jan i recieved a 3850pro 512mb card as repalcement. i bought the 2900pro for £206. The card they have send it to me is only £110,a rubbish brand [triplex computer technology] never heard of it.what do i do now? i have emailed them but no replies yet.i would like some valuable suggestions.thx in advance

    i'd say you have a card thats just as good, possibly quicker, uses way less electric, runs cooler, quieter, and allows you to type in a normal font

    The 3850 is a better card, newer technology and only 1 of 2 cards that have been any good to come from ATI over the last 18 months.

    If you want other answers i suggest using proper fonts instead of that stupid big red stuff btw.

    Though I do think OCUK should have sent something nearer the cost since its so new, performance wise you're not losing much if anything out of it.

    Personally I would just suck it up and not buy from OCUK again.

    The triplex brand is not that bad, there have been quite a few people on this forum and others that have bought a triplex AMD 3850 and have been very happy with it. I have also heard it overclocks well. Its just as good or even better then the 2900 pro.

    OCUK will only send out a card of the same value as the 2900 pro is worth now, which is about £100 for the 512mb. However I am not sure about the 1gb version.
