outlook express 6 all my inbox meesages gone!!!

as the title says yesterday opened up outlook express and all my inbox is completely empty
all my messages are gone.

been using outlok for years this has never happened

anyone know were i can find my emails

make sure you have 'show hidden files' enabled in Folder Options within Explorer.. and then search for:

*.dbx
They are usually in:

C:\Documents and Settings\your username here\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{[random string]}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

cheers found the file but cna't get it back into my outlook

copy/paste that folder to the desktop.. and then you should be able to import that whole folder into OE... (file->import)

otherwise try creating a new Identity within OE and see if import works
