Parent's PC wouldn't boot the other day(they've got an xp2200 on an nf7-s board). The error code suggested it was overheating. Reset the cmos and it stopped doing it.
Had a look at the case and there was a lot of water in the bottom of it and the connections on the back(for graphics card, usb slots etc) looked a bit green which meant that water had got to them(nothing on the main motherboard, just the usb connections and the graphics card).
I cleared it all up and left it to dry completely. Got a new DVI cable as old one looked a bit green on the connections.
Strange thing is, pc is turned on and beeps once which suggests bios check is ok but the 15" advent tft screen shows no signal.
Tried their PC on my 20" dell monitor and display comes on immediately and it boots up normally.
Thought this then meant it was the monitor. Plugged the monitor onto my system and the monitor showed my display straight away.
I'm now lost as to where to go as they both work separately of each other but won't work together, even though they used to before. I need serious help.
