    'Mysterious' Vista Problems

hiya. recently my PC has been acting bizaarely. everytime i turn it on an update appears. upon clicking on the Update icon on the lower right corner the update apparently is "Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB936181)". also, when i have several taskbars on the bottom after a few minutes the taskbars go "crazy" appearing & disappearing constantly when clicked resulting you not knowing which task is which, etc.

the only thing i remember doing to my PC is installing a video converter called Super but i uninstalled. i did retained this Quick Media Converter which does the same as Super.

    i need help guys!

Have you tried using system restore and restoring it back to a few weeks back?

(vista automatically sets a few up here & there)

    Re: 'Mysterious' Vista Problems

well, kill vista's permissions to update, and use system restore to go back to before you had the issue.. also try a google to see where others have faced the same issue

also, i doubt it's the vid converting software, unless it's badly infested with viruses or something
