    Angry Ebuyer problem.

    Hi all.

I recently ordered a 24" monitor and a set of speakers off ebuyer.
I ordered late monday night, and payed £5.99 for 3 working days delivery.
All was going swimmingly and the order was listed for delivery today.
I then noticed on the order consignment page that the scheduled delivery was 1/7/08.
I emailed customer service and this was the response -

Thank you for your contact with our Customer Support Team.

I have looked into this with our courier and unfortunately this is not out
    for delivery today.

I have been informed that the delivery can take up to two working days for
your goods to be delivered to the delivery address you have advised, this
    is because of the location.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused to you.
Its pretty unacceptable in my eyes to take my payment, say that it would arrive in 3 days and only come clean when questioned that it would, in fact, take over a week to arrive.

Is there a chance I could at least get my £5.99 back?

    Thanks.

edit: I also made sure my day off this week was today so I'd be around for the delivery

Definitely, if you can prove that it doesn't say anywhere on the site that it could take longer. Have a look through the terms and conditions, a pain in the anus I know, but if it doesn't say anything I'd give them a ring and demand at least the delivery charge back.
