can i use the mobo header labled wifi_g_USB910 as a standard USB header?...
it looks the same, has the same pin config and all but can it be used??

the header on the mobo is for ports 9 and 10, so there is two USB ports in one block. Just be sure are use the correct sets of pins and not get them mixed up.

yup, so it can be used then?
cos for some reason my lian li has stolen 4 USB's when only 2 are used
i need to connect up 2 more USB's using a pci backplate, but the fact that i has wifi written on the header put me off, in case it doesn't give out the same amount of power?

no idea, but looking at the pin out, there is no reason for it not to work.
turn on time then, after ripping out the gfx card and soundcard to route the cable through nicely
