Re: Failed to set data for 'Css' Whats this??

I have just found another thread on another site that states that css.exe is a trojan piece of software called css.exe produces that error message. However there is little information about it - Googlong css.exe brings up a bit more information.

This is the link to that website is

The program Hijackthis is available here

Once you have removed the css.exe program, you need to install an antivirus program!

Re: Failed to set data for 'Css' Whats this??

I have the same problem when using "Start-Up Inspector", which i've used a lot with no problem. No it won't let me delete unwanted software from my system tray (icons) and says "failed to set data for 'avast'". Weird. I have used Avast for years and like it and there's no place to set "data" in either Avast (from what i know) or in Start-up Inspector. Any ideas?
