Sorry for posting this question again, but I'm after an answer before stock returns to scan. I've ordered an Enermax Modu82+ 525W but should I ask scan to change this to a LibertyECO 500w? I've heard the Moudu82+ is EOL?
Thanks

Looking for advice from anyone here, not just scan - what would you do? Sorry to bump but I haven't got long to make a decision.
Ive never heard of the ECO brand, if you can get it exchanged for a OCZ stealthXstream or ModXstream, if in budget, if not then as long as its got a good rating, go for the ECO one.
No, LibertyECO is a new model by Enermax, I was wondering if the Modu82+ (also by Enermax) is end of line? I think I'll stick with the Modu82+ anyway - it has more connectors and has proven itself.
I e-mailed Enermax a few days back and asked basically the same question. Their response was:
"We have shutdown our office in the UK on Dec 31. there and do supply all sales channels there via distributor only. This may have caused some troubles for some resellers to switch, since not all resellers have an account with that distributor. This situation should ease succeedingly, when more resellers have switched to this distributor to replenish their ENERMAX product stocks. We are sorry for this short-term inconvenience. Thus no current product line has been discontinued locally in the UK."
OK thanks for posting
Was a bit worried I was buying a discontinued product.
Out of interest, why would you be bothered even if it had been earmarked for EOL, providing it does what you want?
AFAIK the Modu82+ range is very highly regarded... SilentPCReview for instance do some decent PSU reviews, and they gave a glowing report on the 625W version...
I don't mind if it is discontinued - I've heard great things about it. I was a bit concerned why it might have been discontinued....
