Headphone port not working in windows 7

Hi all, I have an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard the sound hardware is realtek AC97, the sound out on the motherboard all works, but the headphone port on my case doesn't it's all plugged into the motherboard, but there is no output. Does anyone have any idea what software I should be looking to get to get this working. Under XP there is a realtek control panel which sorts this out, but I can't find similar for Vista/Windows 7.

If anyone could help I'd much appreciate it

    Thanks

    Andy

Have you made sure that youve set the front panel connector to AC'97 in the bios? instead of HD audio or similar?

Have you tried getting the latest driver from realtek's website? It helped my laptop with windows 7. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false
