Have installed the game MotoGP 2008 and straight away after launching, this comes up:



And before you ask, no ... re-installing didn't help.

Ever happened to you ?

Alright, have been to the following website, to download X3DAudio1_3.dll

After I launched the game again, another error came up:

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_37.dll was not found.

Then I downloaded the missing file from there:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/pop.php?d3dx9_37

Another attempt to launch the game worked alright, but ... after selecting language and graphics properties, the screen got black and 2 seconds later I'm thrown out.

Have clicked on check for updates and was redirected to the following website:

http://www.playmotogp.com/

This sentence jumped into my eyes:

Have just uninstalled and re-installed the game, after downloading the "installer file" from above.

Resulting in the same effect like before. Screen got black and 2 sec later I'm thrown out again.

Really don't know what the problem might be ...

I had a very similar problem with FEAR 2. Getting the latest DirectX fixed it for me.
