T-mobile web'n'walk problems with windows live messenger

Just got a new laptop and installed the web'n'walk (no problems. Then installed the new msn (windows live messenger) Now the problems started. I'll sign in ok but after say 20 min or so i will loose the connection and get logged out. I have looked in the option for WLM and under connection it says "you are connected to the internet through a non upnp symmetic nat."

No idea what that means I have read that t-mobile's web'n'walk may be having problem with WLM. Has any one else had the same problems?

Yeah. I had trouble with T-Mobile USB. It's the reason why I left T-Mobile. It was great for the first month then the connection just kept breaking. It had nothing to do with Windows Live or messenger as they were not installed.

I think it's just their connection. Although, if you find out a cause for this I would be interested to know. But for now I just think it is to do with the signal and connection itself.

Going to call them not that I have much hope. It was used on the home before going back to virgin media. It was very slow at times. But on the laptop its ok for looking at websites.

Well yes it is the internet but its one provided on a mobile modem, that uses the t-mobile network (think i'm correct there) No idea why the web'n'walk stick does not support windows live messenger, tbh it should. The person I spoke too could not tell me why.

Re: T-mobile web'n'walk problems with windows live messenger

I use the Web'n'talk through my phone as a modem. I have 3 different WLM accounts and one would get cut off upon logged in and the other two works fine.

Probably certain ports or contents get dropped through the gateway. Nothing you can do really.
