This will be my first ever dive into bluetooth and I won't be using it with a phone, and had a quick question...

I have my eye on this usb bluetooth adapter. It says its a class 1 transmitter, however it doesn't say if it's compatible with class 2 devices.

I'll be using bluetooth at work to listen to tunes out of one ear while I am on and off the phone all day with the other ear.

I was wondering if I need to look for a class 1 headset or a class 1/2 compatible headset, or if I can use any class 2 headset with the above adapter.

I'm guessing that to get the full 100m range I would need a class 1 headset?

Any insight would be most helpful, thanks
