Hey all,
Recently I had to reformat my computer because I ran into some problems. Now I have ran into more problems with my broadband connection. When I try to "set up a connection in a small office or home (or connect to an existing one.) it says I do not have correct hardware installed and I should check the modem, cables etc.
I am with Virgin broadband and they said the problem lies with the computer and its nothing to do with the connection. They said because my computer isn't the main PC that connects to the modem or whatever all I need to do is plug in the cable and it should be fine.
I have three computers in my house and the other two are connecting to the internet so I am kind of confused to why mine is not. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to broadband connections and stuff as you can probably tell, so any help or suggestions would be extremely helpful.
Thanks, Joe.
