Sorry to re-open this thread (and for trolling on a related thread) but I've just had another BSOD - again apparently caused by CPU cache:

I would again be very grateful of any help/advice on what to do. Thanks

To be honest these things are expected in pre-release OS's thats the whole point of them to iron out issues before launch, which build of Windows 7 are you running, 7232 is the most stable.
To be perfectly honest you would have to replicate this error on Vista / XP before being certain there is hardware failure.
OK, thanks. I'm not too worried about it but I just wanted Scan to know about it just incase it does turn out to be a hardware fault. Thanks
Edit: Sorry, I'm running build 7100 - how can I get 7232?

Yeah 7100 was the first RC, not entirely sure how you would go about getting build 7232 but that it the lastest release as they move towards RTM.
Ah OK thanks. I've done a bit of Googling and it appears to be a leaked release, not officially released yet but I will get it as soon as it is.
7232 is on Technet for sure, maybe just not for general consumption yet. Hexus did a report on it a few weeks back if i remember correctly.
