Best Way to made a RAID0 System

After seeing the impressive performance of the samsung F3 500gb i just put in a build for my brother i'm thinking about getting a couple and putting them in RAID-0. What would be the best way of setting this up once the disks are installed? Is it easy to install Windows 7 onto a RAID-0 setup?

The best (only?) way i know of doing it, specially for the os drive, is from within the bios on your motherboard. you wont be disappointed as i have done the same on my i5 machine.

I "short stroked" the os partition to around 300gb and according to HDTune i get the following results, which are as good / better when compared to an SSD on another forum on all accounts bar access time.

    Hack: i5 2500~ASROCK Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3~8GB Vengance~HD4770~ ANTEC 302~CX600.
    Gamer: i7 3820 @ 4.4Ghz~MSI X79A-GD65~16GB Redline 2133~Gigabyte GTX580~TT A90~CM SILENT PRO 1000w.

good stuff. would i be able to do it without reinstalling the OS (i.e. making an image of whats installed currently, creating the raid and then transferring the image to the raid drive?)

That i'm not sure about if i am totally honest as its not something i have done. It might be possible with something like partedmagic but tbh you might need someone who has more experience in those matters to answer that one.

Pretty sure you could do that! When they are in RAID, the hardware handles all the disk reading/writing and it just fronts up as 1 drive.
