Networked folder not showing new files

I have a "videos" folder that I have shared on my secondary hard drive (1TB Hitachi) over our network. My 2 flatmates can see the folder and all the files in there but when I add new files to the folder they do not see them. The only way they can see the new files is if I un-share and re-share the folder.

I am using Windows 7 pro x64, one is using 7 Home x64 and the other 7 Ultimate x86 but I had this problem in Vista x86 as well. This never used to happen and only started happening a few months ago. We are all connected to a BE-box modem.

Anyone have any clue what the hell is going on?
