On saturday I swapped out my old PSU and CPU cooler for better ones, and since haven't been able to load in to windows normal mode.
New power supply is the Coolermaster Silent M Pro 600w which should be more than enough, and even when I replace the old one it still refuses to enter windows normal mode.
Basically it bluescreens every time. Safe mode appears to be working but if I try and restore the system to a week ago it bluescreens. It used to work in normal mode for a couple of minutes, then either freeze or reboot, now it just loads straight to a bluescreen.
I've swapped out the sticks of ram, removed everything unnecessary and still cant get it to boot. I booted from the windows 7 disk to try and reformat but when it loads in to the windows logo part it either freezes or bluescreens. CPU temps seem to be low (around 30 -40), graphics card has been reseated, connections from the psu have been reconnected.
One thing that was particularly noteworthy during installation was the amount of force required to get the cpu from it's existing stock cooler (stuck by the thermal compound). This caused a knock to the processor when it was finally released.
I am at a loss as to what has happened.
