    Re: Cleaning dusty case

A good long bistled p\int brush, about 1/2 inch wide to free up all the trapped fluff 'n stuff. then a good going over with the hoover is my preferred method.
Bedroom PC's are by far the dirtiest in my experience but I really hate cleaning PC's belonging to smokers, especially if they indulge in heavy resin abuse... YUK

I remember opening my friend's PC - the PC hadn't been opened in years, it had a hairdryer of a cooler on a Pentium 4 HT and he has cats. It was like emptying a hoover!!!

    Re: Cleaning dusty case

Spent a good half hour cleaning it last night with the hoover. Wasn't as dusty as I first though and it cleaned up nicely .

Fan blades were quite annoying to clean as each individual blade had dust that had to be wiped off. Glad I did it though.

    Thanks for the tips.

Air duster, anti static brush and vacuum pipe just held near wherever im brushing or blowing to catch any dust that will get sucked up the pipe.
Soft bristled brush for the keyboard and microfibre for the monitor.
    Jobs a good'un

    Re: Cleaning dusty case

If there is a lot of dust i try to pile it up and then hoover it. Otherwise i blow dust off components and go over bare silicon with a duster. I also get the hoover on in there to tackle the most of it.

Thats only in bad cases though. The whole front of my case has removable/washable fan filters. However the dust gets stuck between the outer grill and the start of the filter underneath, so i simply get the hoover out and go over the front.
