    Exclamation Headphones

    Hi everyone,

Im in a bit of a dilemma. Basically i play an online FPS and i am wanting to create a montage, however i cannot record sound with my USB headset (because i cant get stereo mix with them). So i have to use my speakers and connect earphones to them, however the earphones are extremely bad quality. So i was sondering if it is possible to conccect two audio devices at the same time. One of the audio devices is USB and the other is a standard headphone jack. I am using the program Fraps to record (in case this helps). + I am running Windows Xp and i have inbuilt Realtek HD Audio on my motherboard. Thankyou.

    Kind Regards.
    Valvo.

Fraps allows you to select the source you want to record from and also lets you select the same/separate output.

    Re: Headphones

It doesnt want to work with my headphones. Instead of recording the game play sound, it records the sounds i make because my usb headphones have a mic on them. + Fraps makes it really hard because the options are very limited.

Make sure in Fraps you have got it set to record game sound only, I'm using a USB mic myself and have no such problem.

    Re: Headphones

Which fps game demo are you trying to put the sound over the top of, as there a quite a few little programs that change .dem and .dm files into avi files.

have you tried using sony vegas? or even windows movie maker?

If your still having trouble just disable your mic in Device Manager why you record.
