Hanns-G monitor - Blank Screen

Hi all!

I hope there is someone out there that can help me with this as I don't want to have to buy a new monitor.

The screen is completely blank, The "no signal" message doesn't appear even if the computer is off and the power light is continuously on. The OSD menu doesn't even show up when the menu button is pressed. I know its not the graphics card because another monitor works fine with it.

Any suggestions?

unplug the monitor from the computer including any adaptors, do you get a no signal message? also while the pc is on try turning the monitor off then back on, I know it sounds daft but I have to sometimes with my samsung T240

I have tryed unplugging the monitor and it dosent display the no signal message at all.

Nothing happens when turning the monitor on and off again. In fact I have to hold the power button for a few seconds before the power LED turns on or off, which is unusal becuase normaly you just have to press it without holding.

sounds like its dead to me, try and RMA it if you can

I had that exact same problem with mine last year (there were times that it would work for a while but it would then go blank again), I ended up RMAing it.
