    Where to get some parts?

I need to replace a 24pin motherboard connector on a power supply. Does anybody no where I can buy the connector, crimp pins and crimp tool?

    Cheers

Surely you could just buy a 20 -> 24 pin adapter and get it off there? I know they sell those and they're only a couple of quid.

I have a burnt connector on a Topower Tiger 1200W power supply and I need to replace it and do the job right. To that end I need the connector, pins and crimp tool but I'm struggling to find a supplier.

    Cheers

Re: Where to get some parts?

The normal places in order of ease of use are
    Maplins
    Farnel
    RS components

I think the part number you are after is 39-01-2240 (but check that), its a 24 pin molex. RS have them, but the photo is the 8 pin version. Cant remember how easy RS are to buy from.

  8. Received thanks from:

That's the one! Found it is RS and I can order thru work so that's not a problem.

    Thanks
