    Audio via HDMI (Asus5670)

By using the Realtek HD HDMI audio drivers I finally managed to get HDMI audio from my Asus EAH5670 graphics card!!

    Hurrah!!

However the sound often cuts out and doesn't return until the computer is rebooted.

    Any ideas?

That don't actually work at all?

Tried it - only got HDMI rear outputs as option for audio device under windows - I read a few forums and was pointed at the Realtek HD HDMI drivers which at least allowed me to select Realtek HDA HDMI device in Windows....

When you say sound, do you mean all sounds, or the likes of a movie cuts out then a game is fine? Do Windows sounds go too?

I assume nothing appears to crash?
