    Ummm, not quite.

Threads on any retailer are not closed unless there is a specific reason to. We do not close threads for mentioning any retailer on it's own.

Sadly OCUK threads are usually always started with good intentions by the OP, but often become trashed and flamebait very quickly. In most cases, provided the OP has an answer / useful replies, we will close these to stop this happening if we think they are heading that way.

Please keep in mind that in more serious situations we have deleted posts in these threads due to potential legal problems before closing them.

I assure you, threads are not just closed because a specific retailer is mentioned on it's own.

I'm with the others, don't stick with something you're going to regret having. I'm sure we've all done it at some point - you're rushing around and get something that's 'good enough' but you wish you'd waited later on. Be patient and get a system you'll be happy with.

DEFINITELY refund and with DSR you should get all your money back including what you paid for shipping. Dont let them fool you about the 10 to 15% restocking or shipping they have to give you back all your money. Also the 7 days is starts when you receive the box.

i usually send back anything that has a bad start cuz you never know what else will crap out and imagine couple of days down the line you when you're getting into SC2 and it dies.... would be a lot harder and painful to wait for them to fix it would it.. might even be off for the next couples of months (or however long it might/could take them to find/fix the problem) with SC2 even though you have the game right in front of you.

    Anyway just a thought

If your PC arrived on 24 July, you are fast running out of time to reject it under the DSR.

Yeah, I've personally never understood OCUK, generally their prices are always a good few percent higher than market average, coupled with poor customer service and there doesn't seem much reason to shop there.

Each to their own though, their weekly deals do sometimes pop a bargain up but I find it a rarity.
