Can anyone read a zip disk for me?

    Hi all,

I'm doing a clearout at home and I've found a Zip disk which I've got no way of reading. From memory, I backed up a K6 having borrowed a drive and bought a single disk to back up a load of stuff.

I'd love to have a look what's on it - could somebody possibly read the disk and upload the contents for me? I'm happy to offer a nominal fee It's a Zip 100.

    Cheers!

Re: Can anyone read a zip disk for me?

I might be able to. My brother has my old parallel port Zip 100, but I'm not sure I have any parallel ports to use it on

I did have an IDE drive, no idea if I still have it though, it will be in storage if I do.

If you don't get any better offers give me a shout and I'll see what I can do

I've got a USB one sitting around somewhere, should be able to get that up and running.

Edit: tested and working. Drop me a line if you want to send the zip disk to me.

    No charge

Fantastic, I'll PM blueball now and I'll drop the disk in the post. You get to keep it as reward Thanks Funkstar too.
