Hotmail/javascript error in Firefox continues through reinstall

So, a friend said they couldn't get hotmail to work. In short, nothing that's based on javascript will do anything.

Running in private mode doesn't help, so it's not a cookie issue. Running in IE works, so it's not the computer or internet connection.

I've uninstalled Firefox, and removed all settings data, and installed the latest version, still no success.

Where should I go next? I'm not really sure at the moment. Maybe look at the error console? Everything on the PC is in Norwegian which makes things a little bit more challenging.

I think the next thing I would try is to:

- clear out all temporary files (Not 100% sure where Firefox keeps its stuff)
- remove all plugins for Firefox (You can do this within Firefox if I'm not mistaken)
- uninstall and reinstall the Java client

Let us know if that helps out at all. It seems like a communication issue between Firefox and Java

According to Java, javascript is nothing to do with them. I tried the other suggestions to no avail.
