    facebook issue

I did post this in the general section, as I thought it was just facebook playing up. But its works ok in IE for some reason, and on my sisters laptop with firefox.

Used it today and it was ok then an hour later logged in and tried to log out, it took to my to the account page. There was no time to go down the drop down box to 'log out'. Also the chat function does not work on either home page or profile page, but on the account page it does allow me to see who is on. Ran a virus scan but that turned up nothing.

Any ideas? Or has someone else had this issue?

I did that but no change. (When deleting cookies should also delete the email address that pops up in the login box?)

    Re: facebook issue

Works ok on the pc downstairs as well. So its not firefox or the account

Firefox did have a hissy fit with hotmail for a bit, but then it returned to normal. However, it was the same when I tried to access my hotmail on the pc downstairs. This time the problem only exists on my pc.

    plugins:

    2007 microsoft offiuce system
    adobe acrobat
    mozilla deafault plg in
    shockwave flash
    sliverligyht plug in

Security: top three boxs are ticked, and remember password for sites.

Thing is on my laptop I had a similar problem where I could load hotmail in firefox. Then after a while it was ok. I have no installed anything new, and it did work that day. Cold I have pressed some key on the keyboard ?

    Re: facebook issue

    ok, try the following:

    tools -> options -> privacy->show cookies->remove all cookies

tools -> clear recent history (also can be done by pressing ctrl + shift+ delete)

check that in tools -> options -> content -> the top four boxes are ticked. (block pop-ups, enable java etc)

if non of this works, try reinstalling firefox - are you running the latest version?
