    cpu cooler

hi, i need help in deciding wether to get a watercooled cpu cooler, or to get a fan powered hs. i have an intel i7 2600k which i plan on doing slight overclocking. im wary of moving to watercooling simply for the worry of it leaking, so ideally id like a fan cooler if anyone can recommend one which is up to the job. thanks

The Thermaltake Frio and Dark Rock have both been well received. Water's not really necessary for the 2600K IME.

I'm under water and at 4.7ghz/1.38v 24/7 folding and I felt the difference in my room temp in coming from a 1366 i7 970 system - they kick out so much LESS heat that it's quite noticable. Core temps are about 51C, whereas on an i7 rig with the same loops I was at 80C.

I'd also consider the H60/70 systems from Corsair as they are so cheap for a basic water cooling rig

thanks, the corsair ones are what ive been lookin at lol, but if the frio will keep it cool enough while im gaming the ill give it a try, i hear the frio cools better than the dark rock, but the dark rock is quieter. ill get the frio i think
