Which is the best cooler for an i7 860 CPU

I am looking for a cooler to use in terms of efficiency and noise level and have narrowed down my search to this three coolers:

    1) Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev2

2)Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler

3)Prolimatech Megahalems Super 6 Heatpipe Tower Cooler for 775/1366 (Fanless)

    All advise and comments appriciated.

    Thanks for looking

Well the Megahalams coupled with Noctua P12s should would be best in terms of efficency/nosie ratio. The Noctua will be good with noise and not so good with effiencey. The Arcitic is apparently pretty efficenct but also pretty loud.

All up, Megahalams with P12(s) imho.

It's just huge. Bigger cooler = lower temps.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

It should beat the Megahalems by a few C, using similar fans (tests on the way) and it should also be very quiet, it has a 140mm fan and a 120mm in push/pull. But the downside is that it is mahoosive, but Noctua have a really nice mounting system that makes it a piece of cake to fit their coolers once you have the backplate and other fittings in place.

I think the only real problems, fitting wise would be if you had tall memory modules and a motherboard with the DIMM slots close to the CPU.

Yes, should be a few days yet cause there's a few other coolers to test so they are all on a level playing field
