EVGA 750i SLI FTW Mobo Memory, DDR2 or 3

    Hi.
    Pick ya brains.
I have a EVGA 750i SLI FTW motherboard, yesterday on of my 1GB OCZ2T800 failed on me, tested the other 3 units and there fine, just get the C1 error when the bad module is placed in.
Having look at EVGA support site, the old publication of the manual states this mobo will take 8GB memory, but DDR2, I have posted a message there to see if anyone knows if they will take DDR3, but no replies yet.
So I thought I would ask you peeps.
Will it take DDR3, since memory is so cheap, was thinking of upgrading to 8GB.
PS I know OCZ have a lifetime warranty, but would like 8GB in.

It'll only take DDR2. The DIMMS are completely different so DDR3 will not physically fit.

Thank you, I didn't realise there were a different slot size. Might RMA it, cash tight at moment.
