Sata Raid!
How the hell do you set up SATA raid. i've got my comp running off one SATA hard drive but i would like to raid them? i no the raid function comes up breafly at startup but how do i set it up? i think i will need 2 reinstall when i do this so i will have 2 backup all my stuff somewhere.
Ne help guys?

Firstly, yes you will need to back up your data - your operating system and programs will need reinstalling.
Make sure you have a floppy disk with the SATA RAID drive on it that you can load when you boot from the XP/2000 installation CD.
To setup raid you'll have to press whatever key combination your SATA BIOS wants you do press (it should tell you on screen.)
Make sure the system BIOS has the SATA device set to RAID mode.
Finally, have you read up on RAID and know why you're doing it? There's not always much point to it.

Yes i no i need the drivers and i no why i am doin it.I'm goin to use stripped which will increase the speed in which data is written etc. i have tried a few times but have failed to get it work.
