Installed my new nova t usb this afternoon and all seemed to be going well until i installed showshifter and then reset my computer. It has completely offed my hal.dll! Not impressed at all, especially since i think my xp with its beloved recovery console is at my parents house. I don't think there is any other was of fixing it, unless any of you fine peeps out there have any other ideas. Ps, this is typed from my lappy.

Fixed by windows recovery console. Fixboot is a good thing. Hopefully when I reconnect the nova-t it won't kil my computer again.
