Simple question

How can i format a hardrive in xp, bearing in mind xp is running on the hard drive in question- just the one in my system.

It says Windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities etc etc...

Any ideas?

you need to boot from the win xp cd and format from there, just change your bios to boot to cd first,

yup, in windows, u can only format a drive if windows isnt installed and running on it, which makes sense for once microsoft
