    Post UT2k4 Startup Nightmare

I've tried alot of things, using different drivers, graphics card, removing my sound card and graphics card..

    The problem:

Unreal Tournament 2004 won't start on my PC, it opens the splash screen then closes, it does this with retail and demo. I've tried clearing the configuration files, reinstalling many times. It works fine on two other computers I've tested it on, I've tried copying files from the computers it works on to mine, still doesn't work. No error messages, UT2k4 closes right after the splash screen.

Motherboard: ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe (BIOS: 1013)
    CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2000+
    RAM: Generic (I don't know) 512mb PC2100 DDR Ram
Hard Drive: Western Digital 80gb 7,200rpm Hard Drive
Video Card: ASUS Radeon 9600XT 128mb
Sound Card: Audigy 2 ZS Gamer (speaking of which, Halo wouldn't install on my PC due to disc read errors, and Raven Shield gave several errors on installation, the discs don't have scratches on it but kept screwing up)

    O/S: Windows XP Professional SP2

    Suggestions?

Erm, I fixed the problem. It was Service Pack 2. Though I don't believe it's entirely SP2's fault since it works fine on another PC with SP2.

I should think so to, being one of the only big games available on linux
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
