    Altrnate fan for AA8Duramax

    Hi,
Ive got an ezcool case featured with the Carrera Octan Ultimate 3.4CS. The mob is an AA8 Duramax.

There is no case cooling other than the intel fan over the cpu. Could you recommend a quieter solution that i could swap it with but will still cool as well or better?

Sorry i'm so green on all this stuff.

when changing the fan on a heatsink to a quieter one, you might find temps increase as the airflow of the quiet fan is less than that of the original. therefore, you might be wise to change the heatsink as well. i would also add a case fan or two if you can as this will help lower not only case temps, but cpu temps by reducing surrounding ambient temp.

quiet heatsinks i would recomend are the thermalright xp90 and xp120.
