Retreiving files from formatted hard drive.

Hi
I recently formatted my Hard drive but before i did I saved all my photos on my usb pen drive. ater formatting I find about half my photos are screwed ( showing 0 bytes in the properties) and obviously i cannot view them.
Is there anything that i could do or is it possible to retrieve them from my formatted drive?

I did a low-level format in DOS too

Try something in this thread . However, a proper low level format will prettymuch destroy everything. A dos format however should'nt be too bad. Just depends where your files were on the disk & which sectors go written to when you re-installed.
