    MMC Snap-Ins

    Does anyone know how I can repair the MMC Snap-Ins as when I try to access the "Local security Policies" snap-in, i get the following errors...

    Really hope anyone can help...as I use this handy tool to help stop spyware and just generally preventing annoying programs from running...

    BTW the local security policies snap-in can be accessed by typing "secpol.msc" in the run...

    Try opening the MMC (START>RUN>MMC) and add the local security snap-in to the console (File>Add\remove snap-in>add). If this works then save it over the origional broken one.

    If this doesn't work try doing Start>run Regsvr32 iepeers.dll
