anyone know how to compleatly remove Norton AntiVirus.

It's a pain. That's why I moved to Nod32.

If add/remove programmes failed read the following link carefully, and doublecheck which version you've got first:

If you're doing via add/remove programmes I think you have to remove the symantic updater seperately.

Don't forget to check msconfig for any startup references to Norton Antivirus program, the 'empty' folder from usually program files and then there's of course any registry keys: use regedit and find all Norton Antivirus stuff and delete key (dont' forget to backup first!)
