    Exclamation Help with Restarts

Hello all hopefully someone could shed some light on my problem.
Today when i turned on my pc and i went to go and play counterstrike it started loading then my computer restarted so i went to go and play again and it did the same thing. So i started to back up my files to my other pc via the network, it got about half way when it restarted again. When my pc started to load windows it came up with a blue screen saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

So i restarted my pc and i got the same message. After many restarts i got it to load and procceded to backup my files when, of coarse it restarted. So i dug out a spare hard drive with windows on, and replaced my original with it. It booted and i started installing my software onto it. Some of the software reqired a restart so i did and it worked. Then as i was copying some files it cut out again.

So i put my original hard drive back in and went into bios and disabled all caching options. The computer started but was extreamly slow and unusable. Next i went into the bios turned all of the caching options back on and turned to prosseccor speen down to 1.1ghz from 1.46. Success it started and runs so i backed up my files to the network with the prossessor working at about 50%. Now i wanted to test the computer so i played a video, it started to load then just as it went to display the video *restart*. So here i am not being able to do anything other than browse the net asking for help so if anyone can i will be gratefull.
Here are my full system specs
    Amd Athlon Xp 1700
Unlabled motherbord and no-one can seem to tell what it is.
    Unlabled case.
    2x 256mb pc133 sdram
Ati Radeon 9250 256mb but only running in a 4x slot
    40gb hard drive.

    Thankyou

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. that message is usually down to your memory sticks, so suggest you do a memtest on them.

I ran memtest and it passed so hopefully its not ram. I just found out that i cant play a video without it restarting but i can play counterstrike source although its slow because of having to limit the proccessor speed.

    Sometimes this
    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
can be down to graphics card drivers. Uninstall drivers, use driver cleaner restart and reinstall drivers.

Ok in 1.46 mode which is the default setting for the prosseccor i get 2 different error messages before windows loads. Either DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or
    0x0000008E Acpi.sys
