    Possible *Fatal*1ty Problem!

    Right,

Updated BIOS earlier, with new version from ABIT. Rebooted, and all was okay.
Powered off, and I decided to give my gfx card a clean, and took that out. Cleaned all the **** using cotton buds, no water etc.

Placed gfx card back in. And now the machine wont boot.

Did the usual and unconnected everything to trial and test.

    Power to MB - Powers
Power to MB, with one Power connector out - Motherboard complains it's not plugged in and powers off.
Power to MB, Everything out, bar CPU + Heatsink - No Beeps (as you would normally get for no memory and gfx).
Power to MB, Memory In - Powers On.. No beeps.
Power to MB, Memory In, GFX Card In - Powers On! No Beeps, No Video Output.

My first guess is a b0rked Motherboard. Any suggestions, or ideas? ta!

    THanks,

I doubt it's the gfx card as the whole PC is not giving any output anymore.. i.e beeps for no memory.

It is however, powering on with RAM etc. installed ...
mobos are funny things, they don't always do what you expect.

    No.

It isnt powering on properly with RAM.

If i power it on without RAM - i'd expect a beep complaining of NO RAM. I get no beep.
If i power it on WITH RAM - Same result.

Yep I've cleared and completely reset the BIOS to no avail.

I decided to completely strip the PC.

On removing the processor, it appears as though one of the pins on the board is damaged, and not in contact with the processor.

    Looks like it's a new motherboard :/
