Last night an old USB1 Belkin 7-port hub I have had for years, died for some unknown reason. I've filed an RMA request with Belkin - but I'm curious as to what their lifetime warranty service actually means: do they send out a replacement? Or do they only repair things?
I guess, I'm just wondering whether I'm better off going and buying a new USB2 hub, or waiting a while and seeing what Belkin do? Any experiences? As the product I have is quite old, do you think they'll send me out a USB2 hub?
