he means dropping down to the 266 divider which with 247 external clock & 11X CPU multi will be running your RAM at DDR320.Originally Posted by Merlin4458

yeh its running 2T. always has been

did exactly as u said nightshadow, and seems stable, so thats good

nightshadow what would u sugest the next step should be in terms of clocking a bit higher?
Cheers

if you have stability, either push on till you find the max with the current volts, or try to see if you can get the same clocks with reduced volts. I suggested 2xram earlier only as temp, 4xram puts extra stress on the memory controller, so running 2x would have ruled out this holding you back
Awesome - let's go for 2.6GHz (FX55):
- Multiplier ~ x10
- HTT ~ 260MHz
- CPU voltage ~ 1.525v / 1.55v (don't go above 1.55v for a 24/7 overclock)
- RAM divider ~ DDR333
- RAM voltage ~ 2.8v
- LDT Multiplier - 600 (x3)
Set the RAM timings to 'Auto' for the time being, just to make sure it'll run stable at 210-ish MHz - we can tweak them later.
At this point it'd be worth running SP2004's 'Blend' test overnight.
Note: Sorry Max Tractor, you got in before me, didn't mean to seem ignorant.
For a quick indication on stabilty try OCCT and s+m
Or Super-Pi's '32M' test.
ok awesome brb

that was stable nightshadow. NExt recomendation

the minute i put it to 270 or 280 it wont boot just get power down showing on monitor. This was using the same settings said in nightshadows last post

Hate to rub it in, but my Opteron 146 cruises at 2800 (280x10) on stock volts (1.4V)
Oh yes, it was cheaper than the 3700 too.
