Hi,
I was having trouble with my laptop, so my friend went onto remote assistance on my laptop. Now, the right half of my laptop keyboard types numbers, rather than the letters. How can I fix this? It's as if Windows thinks I have a numpad.
Thanks

*spanks head* look at the keys on the laptop. above each letter on the RHS should be a number in a different colour, maybe green or blue.
now find ur Function key, usually down at the bottom left of the keyboard (its the one that says Fn or something) and hold it down and hit numlock up in the top right corner. Numlock light should go out, and take off the calculator-keypad that overlays the qwerty keyboard
Ah thanks. I never even noticed my laptop had a numlock before. I feel quite stupid now .
lol, I'm usually good with fixing my pc when something goes tits up, but this just stumped me completely. Didnt really think of a laptop having a num lock since it doesnt have a numpad.
