    Had a nightmare with mine!

Dude over at ocwork bench (snoopy) gave me some details on what i should change in the bios:

    Advanced/CPU Config
Overclock mode - CPU, PCI Async
CPU Freq - Start at 210 Mhz and work your way up
    Bootguard - Enabled
    Multi/Voltage change - Manual
    Proc Multi - x11 2200 Mhz
    Proc Voltage - 1.450v
    Memory Clock - 133 Mhz
    Flexibility - Disabled
    MA Timing - 2T

    Advanced/Chipset Config
Onboard AC97 audio - Disabled if not required
    AGP Aperture - 128 MB
    CPU-NB Link Speed - 600 Mhz
    NB-SB Link Speed - AUTO

Before i changed to what snoopy had said i had already changed the cpu frequency to 220mhz and found that BF2 ran a bit better! So then i tried upping it to 230 and went back on BF2 but after 5-10mins of gaming a box pops called vpu recover and that my graphics accelertaor had stopped working!? Googled that and people have put that i should turn the vpu recover off in the ati menu which i have done.

Anyway 2day i ran 3dmark with stock settings and the cpu freq @220mhz and got a score of 12596, i then changed the bios to what snoopy had put and ran 3d again and the score went down slightly to 12392!!!!??? So i thought id try upping the frequency to 230mhz with stock settings and snoops settings and the game crashed again but with me unchecking that vpu in the ati menu the vpu recover box didnt pop up this time.

So! i decided to go back to stock settings and went back down to 220mhz and then ran 3d again and the bloody thing crashed!? even though ive ran 3d 3 times this morn it now crashes out??

One thing i did notice was that this:

    Multi/Voltage change - Manual
    Proc Multi - x11 2200 Mhz
    Proc Voltage - 1.450v

was set to auto even though id set it to manual and changed it to the above? so i went back into manual and it had changed the proc voltage back 0.0800v and had left the multi on what i had changed ie x11 2200mhz?!!

Now if ive changed that to manual surely wheni go back in it should still set on that and not auto?

Hope some1 notices this stressed outtttttt! ><

    *edit

turned that vpu recover thing back on and tried with stock settings @220mhz and it ran ok beating my score from this morn lol! Upped it to 230mhz and i got that bloody vpu box popping up again, oh well!
