BF2 On TV

Im trying to play BF2 on my 32" Samsung but it wont work. It works fine on my normal 19" without the TV set up.

It is the same if i set it to clone destops with monitor and the TV or just try and use the TV by itself.

What happens is that the BF2 logo comes up (the bit where you can still see the rest of your desktop) and then the screen goes blank (which is normal). Normally the screen will go blank for a few seconds and then display the EA logo animation. However instead i jsut return to my desktop and there is no sign the BF2 was ever loaded - its not in the task manage/ processes either.

I'm guessing you have the wrong resolution - you can set it at the command line or (i think) your video.com file.

try dropping the resolution of battlefield to 1024x768 and trying again... bf2 works on my tft + tft at this res, if i set it to 1280 i only get the top-left portion of the screen (the rest is cut off)

you might have to go down to 800x600 too and dont forget to change the refresh rate if youre still having probs.

m8, i ahd this same problem playing CSS on my dad 42" plasma, it owuld be fine on desktop and i could play single player halflife but when it came to the online game the screen just went blank, i think its somehtign to do with the reolution.
