    Question electrical help please

    hi there
    can anyone tell me if ive made a big mistake , i just bought a 5kw pool heater for my kids pool but now i read the small print doh ! and it states it must be conected to a power supply than can deliver 23amps continously ??? i have had a professional in a few years ago to run me an outside double socket in my garden , is this gonna be suitable ,
    please help a daft mum in trouble

    gonna have to say no, could be very dangerous, 23amps is very close to the maximum limit of standard 2.5mm cable in perfect conditions. apart from that it will cost a fortune to run (suggest you get a local electrician to have a look at the cable etc.,) sorry.
