    Serial lead for Intel DP965LT

    Anbody know of a uk supplier for a serial lead to connect the serial port header on the DP965LT to the rear of the case. Contacted Intel, they do not supply them, they said I require a reversed lead.
    Any ideas?

    does it need to connect to the mb?

    what about a usb to serial lead instead?

    Something like the above will probably do you... If your case has a D shaped knockout of the right size you can even lose the bracket
    Check the pinouts for your motherboard though first as there is a second variant (Crosswired). The version posted above is suitable for DFI's with a COM port header. The one listed below is the crosswired version...

    Nota that if you DON'T need the bracket, you can order it without and its about 50p cheaper!!! Bargain
