    Slight Graphics issue after installing Vista

    I've installed windows Vista home premium which went fairly smoothly (after deciding that it wasnt going to like my SATA RAID setup and thus floggin thoses raptors and just getting a 160gb WD SATAII 16mb cache HDD).

    The problem im having im thinking must be down to Nvidia not yet releasing full release drivers they are all just still BETA's at the moment.

    Basically text and graphics do not seem to look as crisp and sharp and this is even more noticeably whilst playing WoW the whole game plays fine with no problems only the graphics are jagged and not crisp, sharp and finished like they were when I was running Windows XP.

    Im I right in thinking that it could just well be a driver issue?

    GFX = 256mb 6800GS

    Open the control panel and run the clear type tuner (it's in there somewhere). That will probably fix your problem.
    And yes, the nvidia drivers suck. They run the fans on my 7900GX2 at full, meaning my machine is noticeably noisier running Vista than XP.

    Thanks for the reply charleski...

    Wonder when Nvidia will release new drivers...

    Is windows vista DX10 emulating DX9 i was wondering if that was a potential issue that will be resolved in the next driver release set.
